TECHNOLOGY OF ANALYSIS FOR SUPERPLASTICIZER FLAKE

April 14, 2026

Superplasticizer flake has water-reducing type, slump-retaining type and comprehensive type based on its product performance characteristics. Among them, the effective content of the solid product is over 97%, which can be completely dissolved in water. Its transportation cost is approximately 1/4 – 1/3 of that of the liquid. The product complies with the requirements of standards such as GB 8076-2008 “Concrete Additives”, JG/T 223-2017 “Polyacrylic High-performance Water Reducer”, and TB/T 3257-2018 “Railway Concrete”.

 Product features

  1. It endows concrete with excellent workability, resulting in good anti-segregation performance and pumpability of the prepared concrete, and enhancing the mechanical properties and durability of the hardened concrete.
  2. It has good adaptability with Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, slag Portland cement, fly ash Portland cement and various mineral admixtures, and is suitable for various types of aggregates such as sand and stone of different qualities.
  3. It has extremely low alkali and chloride ion contents, and has no corrosive effect on steel bars.
  4. It has good stability during long-term storage.
  5. It is environmentally friendly, without irritating odors, and non-toxic and pollution-free.

 Application scope

It can be widely used in various types of ready-mixed and prefabricated concrete, high-strength and high-performance concrete, pumping concrete, self-compacting concrete, and plain concrete in industrial and civil construction, railways, municipal works, highways, bridges, ports and docks, airports, nuclear power plants, water conservancy and hydropower projects and other construction projects.

 Usage instructions

The recommended dosage of the polycarboxylic high-performance water reducer is 0.1% to 0.5% of the total amount of cementitious materials (calculated based on solid content). The actual dosage needs to be determined through necessary experiments after considering the specific performance requirements of the concrete, as well as different raw materials and environmental conditions. The solid water reducer should be dissolved in water before use.
