Redispersible polymer powder is a kind of redispersible powder. It appears as a white powder with good fluidity. It is formed by spray drying different emulsions into powder. It does not change the properties of the emulsion; it merely changes its state from liquid to powder, just like the milk we drink turns into milk powder.

Redispersible polymer powder is sprayed from different emulsions. The most representative ones are vinyl acetate and ethylene emulsion, or vinyl acetate, ethylene, vinyl ester, or acrylic emulsion, vinyl acetate acrylic emulsion, etc. Most of the emulsions we use are spray-dried from vinyl acetate and ethylene emulsions.

The powder of vinyl acetate and ethylene sprayed out has good adhesion, excellent bending resistance, high tensile strength and high compressive strength, and has very good application performance. International brands such as Wacker, Celanese, Dow and Dalian Chemical all use this emulsion to produce powder.

The quality of vinyl acetate and ethylene emulsions is different, which leads to different rubber powder produced. For instance, some emulsions have good consistency and high viscosity, and require a little water and stirring during the production of rubber powder before use. However, this type has stable quality and the produced rubber powder has good fluidity, such as Celanese emulsion. Under the same proportion and the same construction conditions, the Celanese emulsion powder sprayed out makes the putty have better silky smoothness.

For instance, for cement-based putty and gypsum-based putty, using our RDX8012 and our glue powder can make workers feel less tired, increase construction efficiency, greatly reduce construction time, save costs, and also receive the final praise from customers. The emulsion of our RDX8012 is sourced from Celanese. Relatively speaking, the amount of adhesive powder produced from 1 ton of Celanese emulsion is larger than that sprayed from ordinary emulsion, and the stability of the adhesive powder is also better.
